When I tell Stacey I am working on something for my Substack, she snarkily says, “Oh, your livejournal”?
Sure…I guess.
The last post there was in 2007. Ahh, the good old days, I was in a band and we were about to celebrate our 2nd actual release, which you can find at Bandcamp. This was a few/couple of girlfriends ago, I was still drinking, and whatever I do remember from that time was that great times were had by all! My existential dread hadn’t started to seep in!
As a part of the writer’s workshop group, Substack Go (Team Tolstoy Seventeam!) I felt that I owed the group, and you, my dear but reluctant reader, an update. Here’s some stuff that came across my desk in ‘The Mantry’.
I’m entirely unhappy with my video skills and audio skills in the first of our "Sell It Now” video podcast, but Episode 2 will be better. I always say there’s no “sorry” in podcasting, but to my pod-pardner Dursin, I am sorry.
Episode 2 will be better…Episode 2 will be better…and will have Beanie Babies.

I think I have tennis elbow. No tennis. From over-lifting on my left arm. Since my accident, I have had mobility, pain, and old guy issues on both of my arms. Rest is the only thing I can do, so I will end up with a crab-like huge right arm and tiny left weakling arm. #crabsalts

Editing Down Our Ideas:
I need to get into Descript more. Happy they chose us as an affiliate.
The Clip to Composition feature is great for us, but I need to spend some time on our Star Trek V video to extract some clips for social.
If I were a beginning podcaster, I would do everything I need to in Descript.
